Experience in Counseling
2020-Present Just-In Time Counseling Services, LLC
I am the CEO of Just-In Time Counseling Services, a safe environment where adults can receive mental health counseling and supportive serices.
2018-2021 Clear Day Treatment of Westmoreland, LLC
I was lead therapist in Clear Day Treatment, a substance use disorder treatment facility. In 2020 I was promoted to assistant director of the facility. Clear Day Treatment has a 21-bed detox facility and a 56-bed short term inpatient rehab.
2015-Present
I have been senior pastor of Zion Apostolic Assembly since 2006. In pastoral capacity, I have given pastoral advice until 2015. After receiving a master’s degree in clinical mental health from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, I was qualified to incorporate clinical mental health counseling to the pastoral advice forum.
2000-2016 Sojourner House, Inc.
I started working in the counseling field employed as a Parent Education at Sojourner House, Inc. in 2000. Sojourner House is a long-term facility where women bring up to three children 12 years old and younger to engage in substance use disorder treatment. I became lead therapist in 2006-2016.
Current Activities
Retired from Clear Day Treatment of Westmoreland, LLC in 4/2021 to begin full time private practice in Just-in Time Counseling Services, LLC. I am also a therapist in BetterHelp, online counseling forum.
I am currently enrolled in Waynesburg University’s PhD Program, Counseling Education and Supervision
Professional Goals
To establish and grow Just-In Time Counseling Services, LLC to become a family wellness center, addressing the mental health needs of the entire family. I want JIT Counseling to expand to offer a therapeutic daycare center. I look for our facility to offer an educational support component, that also gives counseling to students who are struggling in school, understanding that impaired mental health can be a barrier to children/youth being able to fully engage in an educational setting, We also look to offer family and group counseling, understanding that impaired mental health affects the family, not just the individual identified with an impairment.
I am currently enrolled in a PhD Counseling Education and Supervision Program, that will assist Just-In Time Counseling meet these goals.
